Protecting Your Home From Wildfire In-Person
Wildfire risk is a growing concern in Wyoming communities. Cody Tully, Senior Resource Forester and Fuels Program Manager with the Wyoming State Forestry Division, will share practical guidance on fire‑resistant vegetation and fuels mitigation. Drawing on his work with communities across the state, he will explain how creating defensible space—by removing flammable plants and materials around homes—can significantly reduce wildfire risk.
Cody leads statewide efforts focused on fuels reduction, wildfire risk mitigation, and community preparedness. He works closely with landowners, partners, and local agencies to promote effective strategies that help protect homes, forests, and communities from wildfire.
